Camile Nia 

 I wanted to create an evening wear dress that is not traditional , but unique and beautiful which is why I chose Selena as my inspiration. Many designers and boutiques did not want to design or dress Selena because of her background. However; this did not stop from achieving a goals and inspiring her to design many of her own iconic looks. My two piece evening wear is in dedication to her courage on embracing her culture and not changing herself to fit into society's perception of beauty.
